Dr Vercillo is one of the kindest, knowledgeable and caring physicians I have ever dealt with. He immediately makes you feel comfortable, is easy to talk to, answers all your questions. He truly cares and is available to answer any and all questions. My experience with major shoulder repair surgery was exceptional. Great care, after surgery care and follow up. I recommend him as the only surgeon I would use for major repair and care.
Front office is absolutely clueless. Took over three weeks to get appointment, get there to find out that they do not accept my insurance, even though the web site states that they do, and another doctor whom I have seen there before does.
Dr. Vercillo did a fantastic job on my Partial Knee Replacement. After an unsuccessful meniscus operation with another Dr., I was determined to do my research and find the best possible orthopedic surgeon I could find. All roads from both patients and physician friends of mine went straight to Dr. Vercillo. 5 weeks out and the result is STUNNING. His surgical skills are phenomenal and he goes way out of his way to follow up on everything! 5 Plus STARS in my opinion. Dave D.
Dr. V is the most amazing doctor you will ever find. I had a freak accident and even in the crazy he keep my family calm. After breaking a collar bone in to three different ways he fix it in the Operating room. I never had surgery but he made it a good experience for me. Three years later I am going gymnastics and enjoying life. Thanks Dr. V his nickname that I called him in the OR. I was kinda scared and silly when that happend but there was also pink glasses so it was all good.
Dr Vecillo is an excellent surgeon. My knee almost looks like there is no scar and his care and attention are 100%. I recently experienced pain behind my knee which went all the way up and down my leg. I saw Dr Vercillo and he suggested that it could be a cyst. Sure enough upon taking an ultrasound that is exactly what I had. He drained the cyst and the pain disappeared immediately. I am very thankful that I found Dr Vercillo for my knee replacement and his ongoing care and knowledge.
I've broken 18 bones in my life, so I've met a LOT of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Vercillo is simply the best in my opinion. In April 2014, I broke my Tibial Plateau, ruptured my ACL, tore my MCL, and tore my Meniscus. His bedside manner is impeccable and solutions focused. His has a clear strategy, discussing all options and what can be done. My knee works like a charm. On 6/10/15, I broke my patella (knee cap) in half. Same deal, got the hospital and he fixed it with excellent results. A+ guy.
In 2009 I was in a HORRIFIC CAR ACCIDENT. I had my foot up on the seat to take pressure off of my back. On impact I shattered the both the tibia and femur plataeus which come together and form the knee. The first Doctor who looked at me told me he would have to remove my leg at the knee. I was devastated. Dr Vercillo claimed he could save my leg and that I may even walk again and that's just what happened. In a 16 hour operation he gave me a bone transplant and used ligaments from a cadaver
