Dr. Spicola is a wonderful doctor who helps me with a whole host of eye problems that I have including cataracts, iritis, chronic dry eye and vision issues. Highly recommend. He has referred me to a optic neurologist and an optic immunologist as needed for more extensive treatments.
After going to the office with swollen eyes, bloodshot, aching eyes amongst other things. He said I have a virus. No blood test, no other testing at all, just a look, sent me home. Two days later I was diagnosed with Grave's disease by an Endocronoligist in 15 minutes after testing. I then looked up the definition of an Opthtamologist (a doctor that deals with the Anatomy, Physiology and diseases of the eye's). It should have been obvious to Dr. Spicola. yes, I did still get a bill!
