My I initial appointment was with another ortho indy dr when I injured my toes, first dr diagnosed stress fracture not related to toe trauma , my follow up was with Dr Shae he felt there never was a stress fracture, my toes still causing pain burning and feel like walking in pebble) tried telling this to Dr Shae, but he seemed rushed and sent me on my way telling me nothing is broken, went to podiatrist she is treating me for Mortons neuroma and broken toe
Dr. Shea didn't inform me about everything he was going to do to my foot. I told him that I had an infection on my foot while he was looking at it and he replied no l don't. The next time I saw him he said I have an infection. This was after the surgery. My foot still isn't right.

I would not recommend Dr. Shea, I have had 3 surgery's on the same foot . I told him after 3rd one that something was not right. He seen me a few times after & sent me on my way. Now I'm getting ready to have all the broken metal repaired as well as other things thAt were done wrong,And that took time to even find a Dr. Who would even do the Surgery!! Even sent a letter to Ortho. But I did not recieve anything bAck NO RECOMMENDATION FROM ME !!'!!!!
He was terrible. Have more problems than I did before he performed the surgery. Stopped seeing me a few months after surgery too. Got to have another surgery fixing what he has destroyed.
