Dr Gooch took fantastic care of my father in law a few years ago with multiple surgeries to treat a brain infection. He truly cares and communicates with you in a way that he would want if it were his family. Highly Recommend him if you’re in need of a neurosurgeon
I was diagnosed with iih in 2024 and I never received a lumbar puncture. After speaking to Dr. Gooch and his team, they made me feel less anxious about having a lumbar puncture and a future surgery to help with my symptoms. His entire team was very professional and reassuring. They also have a good sense of humor among them which shows just how well they work together. If you are looking for a good neurosurgeon, definitely go to him because he will be 1000% honest with you but also make you smile.
In 2020 I was admitted to Jefferson with a brain bleed from a ruptured aneurysm I was diagnosed with a few dr Michael gooch and his team literally saved my life! It was a true blessing. Without them I probably would not be here today even though my life is a lot different I am still here to see my kids grow up!! I always recommend Jefferson and dr Michael gooch to everyone
I’ve had a long journey with IIH and have had terrible experiences along the way. However Dr Gooch and his office have been nothing outside of amazing since I stepped foot in. I still have a ways to go and things I need to do for treatment. But I wanted to leave this review in hopes that someone else who was suffering from IIH could see it and know he doesn’t gaslight and he listens. Thats incredibly rare.
