My problem (trigger finger) is pretty minor. Dr. Van Allen performed my surgery quickly, effectively, and left almost no scar. My only quibble is that I understood I was going to be sedated and only once I was at the sugicenter did I find that I was going to be completely knocked-out.
He made the whole process very easy and smooth and was always very helpful. He did explain my surgury very well and I am very pleased with the results the scar has healed up great and I am very happy with this overall experience
Is a good surgeon, polite, and reputed to be the "best". My only complaint is that he did not always put the needs of the patient first, even when he knew it was detrimental to their overall well being. Also, he wasn't very thurough in explaining surgical procedures. I trusted his reputation and credentials more than I trusted him. That is why I gave him a mediocre score on helpfulness.
