Dr. Butz was very good to work with throughout some very challenging testing.
I want to share my experience with Dr. Micheal Butz and also warn others about him. I saw Dr. Butz near the end of 2021 for a general diagnostic assessment going over multiple areas. I went to two appointments, the assessment which took a few hours, and then an appointment going over the results. My first impression of him was very weird. Please consider any other option before seeing Dr. Butz. He does not diagnose based on current models because (as he stated to me) "they are terrible". Instead he bases his diagnoses out of the DSM III which is several versions out of date. The harm that can come from adhering to older models, and thus having individuals denied services or receiving incorrect services, based on out of date diagnostics cannot be overstated. This man is completely unethical and unprofessional! His staff write his positive reviews so be careful! I highly recommend you find another person! Horrible man with horrible ethics!! Claims to be a boy scout leader? I wouldn't want him around my sons!! Creepy person to say the least!
