About this business
I realized I wanted to go into medicine because of the technical aspects of working with my hands and the personal interactions with patients. I realized early in medical school I wanted to go into surgery and wanted to specialize in orthopedics because of my interest in sports. I enjoy helping my patients getting back to living a healthy, active life. I want my patients to know that I will take the time to get to know them and understand what they are looking for and their needs.

Just saw Dr. Giovan yesterday for a shoulder injury I got on my Birthday...of course this is my luck! I've been in the worst pain and was so happy his team could get me in so quick to get checked out. He took the time to explain my possible injuries and made me feel like he cares. The Mercy radiologist misinterpreted my MRI, then Dr. Giovan misinterpreted my MRI, and now I’m having to pay for it out of pocket because their notes didn’t line up with my actual health issue. Dr. Giovan had the audacity to tell me that maybe my loudly popping hip was to do with ovarian cysts. I was able to self diagnose my labral tear after lots of wasted money at Mercy. Dr Giovan came highly recommended from my high school son’s pediatrician for his ankle sprain. He was very thorough & explained everything. I felt like he really cared about his long term recovery & not just getting him back on the field.
