I had an amazing experience with Dr Muncy. I had a freak accident that led to me needing my pinky toe amputated. He listened to me, I got to be awake and he cut my piggy off 🤣 you can tell he is very passionate about his patients and he does an amazing job. My surgery was very minor to many peoples surgeries but he made me feel comfortable and safe. I’m home now recovering and it’s been pretty easy so far. If you are needing surgery please consider him. Update: My mom died from never getting out of bed again from this surgery. She was only 66. I'm not saying the actual doctor did anything wrong in his surgery but the staff..... The staff at medical city is NOT phenomenal!! My mother was nauseous and threw up, from the ride over in a medical van, and they said she had to reschedule her appointment. Might I first say that the staff is phenomenal! The NP Ashley is so incredibly fantastic and caring! She listens, cares, and sympathizes with your concerns! Dr. Muncy was the one to do surgery on my hand. He is straight to the point and does not sugar coat anything. He is excellent at what he does and knows it. Dr. Muncy has a very dry sense of humor but is a very professional man. I am more than pleased and the plus side is he is easy on the eyes, that helps lighten the pain a little. June 2017 I experienced a severe degloving of my left hand pinkie finger along with dislocation of the finger tip and loss of the tendons. Dr. Badylak performed surgery that resulted in me not losing my finger. Other surgeons I have visited commented on how Dr. Badylak's work was instrumental in saving my finger.
