I had a L-1 burst fracture which required a L-3 to T-10 fusion. He did excellent work as far as the surgery. I would recomend him. Tristan J. Schwarz.
This doctor hadn't a shred of human compassion. Even after spinal surgery left me with no feeling or motion in my legs, he seemed annoyed that I asked him for a more complete answer about what happened. He drew a stick figure and pointed to the back area and coldly said that's where the nerve damage was -- and left. A few days they shipped me off to the rehab hospital and I never saw him again. I had two disc herniation. I went in to have them removed only to find out after the first surgery that he only fixed one disc not both. The reason given was it really didn't look to be a problem. I ended up having a second surgery done to fix the one not done in the first surgery. Only to find out that little was done to it and more was done to the other disk. I have had 3 previous back surgeries with fusions. Dr. Morone performed my most recent fusion, and in 3 weeks i was pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Morone for his skill, professionalism and capabilities. As the fusion levels inevitably keep moving up, I will definitely return for his services
If you complain about Dr Morone you really don't know what you wanted. On of the best neurosurgeons I've ever seen. Believe me he fixed my back after 4 other neurosurgeons screwed up really bad. Would recommend him anytime.
Had two procedures done by this Dr. The first one was a fusion and hardware put in my back three months latter I had to have another surgery only to find out that several screws loose had to be replaced with more bone graff and more hardware installed. Complained to him that I still had pain going down my leg, I went to him for another year complaining only having exrays done, I finally decided to go get another opinion only to find out by three different Drs telling me x-rays were a waste of time and money that a MRI and Mi... read more
would not answer questions nor talk to me about scheduled surgery - very poor communication and extremely unprofessional in dealing with patient
Very professional, explained procedure in a manner that was understandable. Highly recommended by a fellow neurosurgeon I had been with befire moving back to Montana. I couldn't have been in any better hands with my issue anywhere in the country. He is great.
