OK, I have to have cataract surgery,I went to Dr. Michael Levine in Boynton Beach today, they were all very nice, until I spoke with the surgical coordinator , then she told me that they would be $400 plus the facility fee, the facility fee, I understand, but I didn’t understand the $400 for the lens. After doing some investigation and spoke to Humana, which is my insurance through Medicare I found out it should only be a $35 co-pay plus a facility fee, I called back and spoke to the surgical coordinator again and she inform... read more
Extremely knowledgeable and very talented. I highly recommend him.
I recently saw Dr. Hamburger. Dr. Levine only does surgery now. I was told my refraction would be done by a technician. (Last year my eyes were healthy, and Dr. Levine was very kind. He made a slight change to my prescription, but assured me I would see better). Dr. Hamburger was rude and dismissive. He told me I missed some dots on the peripheral vision test likely because of my flabby eyelid! Dr. Levine has been my ophthalmologist for almost a decade. He is extremely personable, technically superior, and highly knowledgeable about all aspects of his soeciakty. His office is extremely modern, with the finest of medical equipment. His staff is extremely compassionate. I highly recommend him for all your ophthalmologist needs.

Dr Levine, did my cataract surgery,with perfect results. office and staff super. reception area super clean and spacing. Dr Levine did a regular surgery & did not push laser . i have been to 4 different eye centers and this office and staff was the most professional.
Tragic results from glaucoma surgery. Now totally blind in one eye and impaired vision in the other. I actually woke up and spoke to Dr during the surgery.
Thanks to Dr Levine I now have 20/20 in both eyes. He has assembled a wonderful and efficient support staff. High marks all around.
