Godawful eyebrow wax, nails OK, pedicure bad – I can't comment on the hairstylists here because I didn't get my hair cut. I moved from Austin and went to MK on the recommendation of my salon in Austin. Before committing to getting an entire facial done by their esthetician, who is some dude that is a contract hire, I scheduled a brow wax. This guy completely molested my eyebrows. stylist Berry – I have been to Michael Kemper's Salon twice, each time was a very good experience..I will keep coming back..Yolanda washed my hair each time, her scalp messages were relaxing, and she made sure I had coffee or tea if I wanted it..Berry was my stylist each time, I like the hair cut he gave me..He is an expert at making one's hair look and feel better, he was fun to talk to..I will keep coming back...It was a treat to spend part of my day at the salon, then meet my sister to go shopping in the nearby area. Excellent Experience – I would give a 5 star rating if I had more experience with salons; but, this is my first time. Being new to town, I wanted to avoid the several days usually needed to allow my hair to look good after a barber's work. Michael Kemper Coiffeur met my expectations. Shawna Barton an amazing hair stylist – I went into Michael Kemper to get my haircut by this young lady named Shawna Barton and I was blown away by her performance. Shawna was prompt about my haircut appointment unlike other high end salons where I am waiting at least 15-20 minutes to get my haircut. Shawna offered me a drink while I am sitting at her station to get my haircut where other salons I have to ask if I can have something to drink (which is usually nasty water). Loved this Salon – I absolutely loved this salon, my experience here was without a doubt the best i've ever had at a salon. I was treated like i had been a client of the salon for years from the moment i walked in. I had read a few of the reviews of the salon and decided to make an appointment with Brad (for a facial) and Shauna (for my hair). They did a fabulous job! Extremly professional. My skin has never felt better and my hair looks amazing. I would highly recommend the both of them to anyone, they're so great!!!
LOVE IT! BEST IN TOWN! – This salon is truly like going to see family. From the moment you ride up in the glass elevator you immediately feel welcomed. I have had the most incredible facials by Brad EVER!!! I am a client for life!
WORST CURRUPT SALON IN HOUSTON, YOU WOULD GET BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AT SUPER CUTS – This is the most corrupt salon in Houston. DO NOT GO THERE. I had an issue with a stylist there. I tried to reason with management. Angie, the manager, obvoiusly has some mental issues. They have no customer service. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. You will get your hair ruined!
