The procedure was painless. The nurse made sure that there was plenty of time to numb the area before the local anesthetic was administered, so there was no pain. Dr Yoon worked quickly, and the nurse kept right up with him as well. Post op procedures were explained in detail, and I left with a full bag of gauze, swabs and antibiotic ointment so I did not have to stop at a pharmacy. Excellent experience and kudos to both the Nurse and the Doctor.
My surgery was painful and my right upper and lower lids are drooping.Dr. Yoon did my left eye and a resident did my right eye. I believe my right eye is drooping because the resident did them.I would not recommend Dr. Yoon for plastic surgery.
Dr. Yoon and his support staff are respectful and always provide the answers and feedback I need to better understand my healing process and where I am.I always leave Dr. Yoon and his staff with a feeling of comfort that the team is on top of my situation and I am in really good hands.
I had eyelid surgery with Dr. Yoon approximately 6 months ago - hopefully, I am reviewing the correct doctor - Stoneham, Mass Eye and Ear. Although I found his manner pleasant and his explanation of the procedure easy to understand, the surgery itself did not go well. Dr. Yoon, while happily chatting with the OR staff, made the incision and started the sutures immediately without anytime for the anesthetic to take effect. I felt everything. A very kind and considerate doctor and his team were very skillful and professional. I especially enjoyed the candor of Dr Yoon in addressing the immediate need of irritation before addressing my lid surgery.

Dr. Yoon is an exceptional doctor. He purs patients at ease and is very easy to speak. He explains things very clearly.
I also found dr yoon very arrogant. He may be good for plastic surgery but for me, not well in my disease and not able to have normal dialog that questioned his prognosis without being noticeably offended.
Dr. Yoon is phenomenal! He is so nice and well spoken! If you’ve ever dealt w/ specialists, you know “nice” usually isn’t in the cards. Dr. Yoon made me feel so comfortable and important. He went through everything I needed to know about my condition and I felt I was in great hands as I underwent the procedure. It was scary but Dr. Yoon had me calm as a clam! He’s a wonderful physician and truly extraordinary in every way! I would trust him w/ my life. Thanks Dr. Yoon!
