My husband and I are longtime patients of Dr. Shindle's. We are so glad he is now practicing in Wayne at NJOI! He always helps us when we need it... it's easy to get an appointment with him and he is very accessible. His assistant is great too. Highly recommend Dr. Shindle and his staff.
I had my ACL and meniscus repair completed by Dr. Shindle 5.5 years ago! I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. I have had no Issues since.
Is there a way to give zero stars? All time spent with PA. No coordination with PT whatsoever. Never even made attempt to try and understand the underlying issue - just wanted to do more tests. Waited over 40 minutes for 2nd appt. Rushed, disorganized and not the least bit interested in patient outcome. Everything a good doctor should NOT be.
Started having terrible shoulder pain two months ago. Saw an orthopedist, who gave me a cortisone shot and recommended an MRI. After cortisone shot didn't work and he saw MRI, he gave up and told me to see an orthopedic surgeon for nerve issue. Saw Dr. Shindle, who advised against surgery and recommended second cortisone shot, but this time into joint. Answered all of my questions and explained what was going on. Two days later and I'm a new man; almost 100% better. So grateful to avoid surgery and just wish I hadn't wasted ... read more
A complete waste of my time. Multiple X-rays were taken of the knee that was causing me pain. I spent more time explaining my situation with the PA than with this doctor who spent about 3 or 4 minutes with me, if it was even that long. When I asked him what the X-rays showed, his one word answer was: “Arthritis.” Now I’ll bet that everyone over the age of 50 has some arthritis that will show up on X-rays, and I’m in my 70’s. My pain was a sudden onset at the rear of my knee, during one of my daily power-walks, which I explai... read more
Terrible had ankle issues and said I needed surgery I have more pain black and blue for 6 years thought I had ganggreen took staples out and 1 1/2 open wide they casted it I looked and said are you kidding me looked like they fractured my bone putting a rod in with one of the screws and casted it bleeding then infection I have the films and pics Jeddy Hopatcong
Terrible. Smart but totally uncaring about the patient and the impact of the condition or treatment. Perhaps he treats athletes better . Office hours are like a surgery roundup! In a word, “uncaring.” Perfect for SMG
I spoke with his Physicians Assistant most of the time. I waited for the doctor for 40 minutes and when he came in for 4 minutes, he didn't greet me and went straight to tell me what his diagnosis was which contradicted prior doctor diagnosis. He was dismissive of my questions and prior doctor's diagnosis. He left quick and I didn't get time to ask him follow up questions. I left more confused than when I went in.
Took care of my son and repaired his shoulder. He was always available at any time for questions or concerns! I liked that he was very conservative before doing surgery. Tried PT etc before it became inevitable that surgery was needed. My son is doing GREAT! Highly recommend Dr. Shindle !!
