Great doctor. Super smart, but no attitude. Spent lots of time examine my hip and sharing his thoughts pre-MRI. He prescribed a stronger MRI given the needs of hip imaging located at only one location in NJ (HSS in Paramus). He followed up with a call and reviewed my findings.
I am beyond happy and satisfied with his care and expertise, and know that I am in excellent hands with Dr Shindle. When I first called his office they gave me an appointment the very next day. He is personable and straightforward and I knew I was in the best care possible. I am a retired RN for many decades in hospital nursing , if that counts for anything, and I would recommend him highly to anyone who needs an Orthopedic Doctor. Dr. Shindle is my go-to for any ortho injury. He repaired my ACL in 2016 and I was back and better than ever in months. I saw him in Jan 2024 for a hamstring tear. He’s incredibly empathetic, accessible (even off hours) and brilliant. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. His experience makes him the best and you’ll know you’re in excellent hands. He’s seen it all and knows the right course of action. The office team and PA’s were awesome too.
After enduring two full months of excruciating pain and being consistently dismissed by Tri-County, only receiving a cortisone shot jabbed into the kneecap and prednisone, I finally followed up on my friend's recommendation of Dr. Schindle. Dr Schindles's staff was terrific; they scheduled me immediately and had my MRI reports available. He is one of least emphatic and caring doctors that I have seen. Had an ACL Reconstruction with him and had numerous post-op issues that were handled by his PAs. Came back years later with concerns and was dismissive, and again saw his PA. I found another Dr who was understanding and listened to my concerns. Turns out I needed an ACL revision because the graft stretched out. Once the initial surgery is over, you're just a number to him. Highly recommend doing research first before going to him.
Great experience. Straight up, right to the point, spent a lot of time with me. Very empathetic. All of the negative reviews I gather are from people who don’t get the answers they are looking for and Medical Gafones. I think he’s Great. On the other hand his PA hasn’t called me back in 2 days on a referral question.
Dr. Shindle did my meniscus surgery and has managed a few other injuries of mine. Will always recommend. Excellent bedside manner and a very skilled orthopedist.
I brought my son to NJOI and we saw Dr. Shindle. He took his time with us, explained everything and my son is back to hockey without pain. The staff is great and we were seen in a timely manner.
