Dr. Healy looks at the problem and assesses it from his ability to fix it. I was diagnosed with Guillian Barre' 7 years ago. He was instrumental in that diagnosis. I recently had profound weakness in my lower extremities. Dr. Healy reviewed my MRI and saw where my spinal cord was compressed at C4 & C5, in my neck. I was not having pain, just losing strength in my hips and legs. Where other physicians felt Guillian Barre' side effects were causing the weakness, Dr. Healy felt the compression of the spinal cord was the cause. ... read more

He literally 'killed' me! He did back surgery, got infected, and he 'couldn't find anything'. Infection attacked heart and I ended up needing 2 valves replaced and 1 repaired! In reading other reviews I can't understand how this 'person' still operates on people.

If you have the critical need for spinal surgery , Dr Healy is one of the best in my opinion. I needed a Lumbar Fusion due to spinal chord compression . Dr Healy and his team performed the L4 and L5 fusion. The surgery was a success and my recovery was quick. Throughout the process Dr Healy, was extremely easy to deal with. He explained everything that he needed to do to correct the issues I s having very clearly and then did exactly that. About 8 months later I was in a rear end car accident. My diagnosis was that I needed ... read more

I saw Dr. Healy many years ago for a cervical fusion. He recommended using a metal plate for a one level fusion. I sought a second opinion locally and this surgeon did not recommend using a plate. I went back to Dr. Healy to discuss surgery without the plate. He demanded that I tell him who I got my second opinion from, and said that if I don't tell him he will end the appointment. I told him who I saw, and he slammed his fist down on the table and angrily stated 'I hate Dr. xxxx!' He then began telling me about business con... read more

I have had 3 back surgeries. First time a fusion in 2021, still continued to have issues, Dr. Healy went back in on March 2022 and removed all my hardware and he discovered he pinched a nerve. Still wasn't right after the second surgery, so he discovered I had a baseball size scare tissue so in January 2023 he went back in there and removed it. Still having pain today. Had MRI done and I have a huge fluid pocket that he drained. He was not very pleasant about having to drain it and said if this doesn't work, then to call bac... read more

My father went to Dr. Healy because he had numbness in this arms. Dr. Healy was great talking to my 85 yr father. He really is focus on the patient and explains in ways them relate to. The surgery went well and now the numbness is gone. Thank you Dr. Healy and staff!

Dr. Healy seemed really great in the beginning. He got me right in, identified the problem and we set a surgery date for a few days later. During the surgery he knicked my spinal cord. I had spinal cord fluid leaking for 9-10 days it was HORRID. I got violently ill from it and my left lung collapsed. I was in tremendous pain. As I’m sure you can imagine, laying completely flat on your back after back surgery for 9 days straight was less than ideal or comfortable. All the while Dr.Healy avoided me at all cost. Stopped coming ... read more
