There are good doctors, and there are GREAT doctors. Dr. Fields is a GREAT doctor. At every appt leading up to the hysterectomy, he patiently answered my every question, even the ones I knew I was repeating bc I didn't remember the answer. I never felt rushed out of the door. I have suffered from ovarian cyst pain for about 16 years. Every doctor I went to said the same thing “it isn’t big enough to do anything about.” Thankfully, my new primary care doctor said quality of life is what matters, not the size of the cyst (FYI…I am 5 feet tall & 100 pounds, so I am much smaller than a typical woman, so that also plays into it). I ultimately underwent surgery under Dr. Field’s care, during which my fallopian tubes were removed and the majority of my endometriosis was excised. The surgery was handled with skill and professionalism, and the follow-up care was just as thoughtful. Since the procedure, I have experienced meaningful improvement in my pain and overall quality of life.
