Dr Cogburn is efficient, wastes no time, yet is thorough and makes the entire experience enjoyable. He follows up with any biopsies, etc promptly . In my opinion, he is outstanding in his knowledge and how he has acquired excellent staff to support his topnotch care. I've recommended him to my patients seeking a dermatologist for many years.

Dr. Cogburn has been my dermatologist for years. I might see him 1x a year or it could be longer. When I need an appointment they do their best to accommodate me. Their staff is always helpful and nice. There are many dermatologists now in my area. People ask why don't you go somewhere locally . I know him and he has always been able to help me no matter what the problem is. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cogburn's since 2014. He is a great Dermatologist to work with. He takes the time to listen and understand my skin care needs and doesn't try to endorse treatment that is not effective or practical. I have been seeing Dr. Cogburn for years. I was diagnosed with a rare form of psoriasis that he has treated for those many years and other small skin irritations. He takes the time to explain and even listen to your complaints. I had an issue several years back and called him on a weekend, He immediately interrupted his lunch date with his wife to see me and help. I don't just feel like Dr. Cogburn is just a doctor, but a family friend who understands and listens and forms a plan to help.

I have had long term experiences with Dr. Cogburn through my family (parents now deceased) & sister & brother-in-law. I have had 3 lipo suction surgeries & though not much fun, saw good results. I think he is a very knowledgeable & does a great job. I am also very pleased with all his office staff & I always see the same people there so that is a good sign. All of the staff are very friendly & supportive. Sometimes the wait time is a bit long however.

Dr. Cogburn is the most thorough and careful doctor that I have ever seen. He is very professional and ,although he had many patients to see the day I was there, he never was in a hurry with me. He made me feel that he really was listening to my concerns and had plenty of time for me. He also was very charming and funny. I hope that he will be my doctor for many years.

Dr. Cogburn is the most amazing physician. He is an excellent dermatologist. He has been treating our family through thick and thin since 1988. My daughter comes all the way from Charlotte just so she can continue to go to him. He likes to do relatives due to the nature of some of the diseases he treats. He is kind, he is compassionate, he is helpful, he is generous. He is a treasure to Western North Carolina medicine! He probably also has too many patients but I just told you why.
