i was very lucky to have dr. hsu perform my surgery. i have never had a doctor who cared some much for my well being. i strongly recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Hsu is a true professional and a credit to his field. He is a good listener, explains difficult medical concepts in language one can understand. He is compassionate and accessible.
By the time that I arrived at Dr. Hsu's office I was in intense pain from a blockage in my colon caused by diverticulitis. He rearranged his surgical schedule to operate on me quickly. He ended up having to perform a colostomy. The good news is it was reversed six months later. Dr. Hsu was caring, professional and skilled. His staff is exceptional. Questions or concerns that I had were treated seriously. I never was made to feel that I had "bothered" them. I highly recommend Dr. Hsu.
Amazing care and professionalism. Dr Hsu came highly recommended by several doctors in St Augustine and I understand why. His surgical skills, bedside manner and follow up is superb.
My first surgery & first time in hospital - Dr. Hsu could not have been better. Amazing how skilled he is to do laproscopic surgery like that. Great personality he takes time to explain everything, and really cares about you too. He's the best - you definitely want Dr. Hsu if you need general surgery.

Dr. Hsu performed Hernia surgery in November 2017. I highly recommend him as a surgeon he did a phenomenal job which after 2 months I feel so much better now that this procedure is behind me. He is a doctor that cares about his patients. He is very thorough explaining the procedure and what you can expect afterwards. He was recommended by my primary doctor therefore I didn't waste any time calling and scheduling . I'm thankful to Dr. Hsu and his professionalism.
Dr Hsu is very responsible when it comes to surgery. His bedside manner left my wife and I feeling very positive and we could trust what he was telling us. And even though the surgery was more than I anticipated, when the second surgery took place all is good. I highly recommend Dr Hsu and his wonderful staff.
