This was my first surgical experience and I am so grateful to have found Dr. Hsu. I was very anxious but Dr. Hsu (and Jaime in his front office) made my experience better than I could have imagined. Dr. Hsu actually LISTENS to what you have to say and genuinely wanted to understand me and my issues, and I never felt like there was a pre-determined treatment. Dr. Hsu spent as much time with me as I needed, and I could not have asked for a skilled surgeon with a better personality and demeanor.
He is a very good surgeon, very thorough and a stickler. All that work with him say, if i needed surgery, he is who I would go to. I have recommended him to friends who need general surgery aswell..

Dr. Hsu is a caring and dedicated surgeon who doesn't tolerate excuses or mediocrity. He has a kick a*& reputation and is also a very personable guy who values the life of his patients irregardless of age or disease. I felt that he truly cared about my mom and encouraged her to fight her disease. He was a doctor who is truly in his patient's corner.
Dr Hsu performed a hernia repair for me. His level of care was excellent. After the surgery, while I was in recovery, he talked to my wife and answered all her questions. She was very impressed and so was I.
Dr. Hsu truly is an excellent surgeon, an incredible patient advocate, & a credit to the medical profession. I was in the hospital for 6 days in tremendous pain with Pancreatitis. I felt all along it was my gallbladder causing my Pancreatitis. No one listened to me. Finally I asked for a Surgical Consult and Dr. Hsu came into my room. He has a common sense approach. He removed my diseased gallbladder. I BELIEVE HE SAVED MY LIFE. Great drs. listen to their patients. Dr. Hsu listens. Thank You
I put off my hernia surgery for two years. Visited Dr. Hsu 3 times over that period before i had the nerve to go through with my surgery. I regret not doing my surgery sooner. Dr. Hsu is easy to talk to, professional and a perfectionist. I highly recommend him.
I was admitted through the ER when I came in on a Saturday afternoon with a very painful gall bladder attack. Dr. Hsu did my surgery on Sunday morning. His friendly and professional manner is greatly appreciated. When he explained my situation he was clear and concise, then listened to all my questions and answered them clearly. I feel very fortunate to have been in his care, and would recommend him to anyone.
I can not say enough good things about Dr Hsu. He was very concerned and knowable about my condition and made me feel at ease with him. He is down to earth and answered all my and my husbands questions. I feel as if he is an excellent surgeon and I was so happy that I was was referred to him . We all know that surgery is a scarey experience but I truly felt at peace knowing he was my doctor.
