I appreciate Dr. Banffy not only for what he did to my shoulder - but for what he didn't do. When I went in for surgery 6 months ago - the MRI indicated that I would see a full shoulder repair. When Dr. Banffy went in - he decided against it and went for a less invasive procedure. I remember why he made that call - he said that if he was operating on himself - that is the route he would have taken. It means a lot that he treated me in such a thoughtful way. Dr Bannfy is an excellent physician. One of the best in Los Angeles.
I have no way of knowing how good Dr Banffy is, I have been trying to get an appointment for a month. I was asked to send in my MRI and PT reports, both were submitted repeatedly, yet I was told not received. I've been told Dr Banffy is the best, and I believe it, so I persevered to ensure they received what was asked for. I was told Dr. Banffy has a strict protocal of who he will see based on the MRi and PT reports and the age limit was 60 years, I understand, no problem. I have no way of knowing if Dr. Banffy is good or not. I had an appointment for tomorrow morning with XRays right before. I was told to arrive early for XRays. Then, today I received a message that my appointment was canceled for not already getting XRays. Whomever is handing his office is not providing correct or adequate information to the patients.
