Although Dr. Acarese is not the cardiologist I normally see, he graciously stepped in when my doctor was unexpectedly unavailable. He demonstrated interest in my plan of care and discussed options for dealing with my condition. I appreciated his thoughtful responses and that he took the time to understand the impact my experiences have on my life.
Dr. Arcarese came highly recommended from three friends who are also his patients. I was not disappointed. His careful attention to my symptoms, the time he spent with me and his personal follow-up following testing, makes me comfortable in that I am in great care.
Dr. Arcarese is not only the best cardiologist we found but I can talk to him about anything no matter how great or small. He treats you with respect and that is important to me. He called me on a Saturday to discuss my labs. On a Saturday! He is without a doubt the best doctor around.
Dr.Arcarese is the Best doctor I have ever had. Not only does he treat you he cares and explains everything to you and your family. I was 1 of his first patients when he came here,and I am a complicated case. He never gave up on me, even when I wanted too. He is very up to date on any and everything heart related. My family as well as myself would HIGHLY recommend him. He now treats my parents and cousins. Best attitude and bedside manner you will ever find.
Dr. Arcarese was my father's doctor, who helped him live a long life. He has help me after having congestive heart failure. My entire family loves and believes in Dr. Arcarese. He is very good at explaining his concerns about your problems in a way that everyone can understand. He takes time to answer any question you may have and his staff has been very helpful with any question I have between office visits. I am very happy with my choice of doctor and his staff.
Dr. Arcarese listens to patients. I feel that I can trust that whatever treatment he suggests is the right thing to do. He is always polite and friendly. He has a great bedside manner.

If you want someone is really cares about your concerns along with your health, then this is the doctor to see. He listens to what you have to say and he doesn't make you feel like you don't know what you are talking about. He treats you with a great big smile which is not a fake smile. His bedside manners are ones of concern not run in and out like you are a disease. What are you waiting for; if you need a great cardiologist then this is the doctor to see. I am living today because of him.
Dr. Arcarese, was recommended to me by my previous cardiologist who left the RVA area. I respected and trusted that cardiologist to the utmost (even if we didn't see eye to eye initially), I have the same trust and respect for Dr. Arcarese. I was called personally by Dr. Arcarese to discuss my recent event. I have not had an MD, other than my (new) PCP call me personally and spend time to discuss my situation. I appreciate the personal care he shows.
