Totally incompetent! They lied to my face when I asked if they’d given my dog the meds for his brain inflammation. The tech the night before told me they didn’t. Next day after vet lied to me she finally said “ we didn’t skip it. We postponed it” well me dog died because he didn’t get it. Go to Knowles

For Simon : Dr. Larin, the person that you called rude and nasty is my daughter who also feels the loss of Simon. The owner of the Simon is me : Pablo Lobato ,the one that you will call rude and nasty, too. I start with the waiting time at your clinic; even when the notice in the room specify the order for the medical attention ,that notice is to hide the shortages in the number of Doctors in your clinic. The delays include the test that your clinic send to the contractor ;Simon's biopsy exceeded more of four days,I never ... read more

We brought our 13-year-old dog, Cookie, here after the quickly growing lump under her leg ruptured and she had uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea. We originally thought the lump was a lipoma, as she had a history of those, but we were alarmed at its rapid growth, sudden rupture, and visible distress she was in. She was seen in 2-3 hours (not terrible for an emergency clinic), but the vets didn’t even think to run blood-tests until 5 hours in (mind you, the vets knew Cookie was dehydrated, but they did not offer to admini... read more

Worst place ever. Got there at 5am. Left at 11am and my dog never received treatment. They are very unprofessional and unethical.

Worst place to take your pet, my dog had his oxygen turned off after three days when Dr. Larin told me he needed to stay on it for at least two more days. He died right in front of me, they have one vet working a 12 hour shift, which for an emergency veterinarian center is not enough, the receptionist’s were rude and when my fog died the receptionist was arguing with me about the $5,000 I owed them. The office manager after a few emails told me not to contact them again, so I still don’t know what really happened except they... read more

The only reason that I give this place a two star rating is because Dr. Garcia truly is a wonderful doctor. However, as others have said, they will complete unnecessary tests on your pet to rack up enormous bills. I was charged $1500 for a bone biopsy for my cat that took so long that he did not live long enough to see the results. I was told that I would have the results of the test given on Friday by Monday, and so I agreed. On Monday, when I called for results, I was told by a tech that those tests take a minimum of 3... read more

Terrible place to take your pet! All they want is your money! We learned this the hard way: by loosing our baby in their hands, or I should say under their knife! Stay away from this place if you love your pet!!!!

We had a bad experience with MVS, I hold MVS partly accountable for a rescue dog Jennifer's death, who was not properly diagnosed and treated by them. Jennifer was only 1 year old, was rescued from MDAS on June 27, she was saved from a high kill animal shelter where many dogs are euthanized almost daily. She was at MVS (4) times in one month, when she stayed for several days at a time in their facility. She went first time on June 27th directly from MDAS to be checked, after she was spayed at MDAS that day and limping due t... read more

Oh my Sasha. Our sweet girl. I just wish things would have gone different and you were here with us. Never could have prepared to let you go so suddenly. We’re not happy how the vet forgot about you and had you laying there despite our repeated calls. We will fight for you so that no family will hopefully ever have to experience that at that Miami Veterinary Specialists. Miami Veterinary mislabeled Sasha and held her as her body rotted away despite my calls. Each employee assuring me that I needed to wait, all while they c... read more
