Yesterday I had an appointment for my boys cleaning. They are 9 and 4. They told me about the new guidelines which we followed to a “T”. We wore masks, waited outside, our temperature was checked and they asked us questions which all were answered negative. We were not exposed to any COVID situation. They let us in the waiting room and there were another 3 families waiting, all separated. Unethical business. I received a quote for a dental checkup and cleaning. When I checked my insurance benefits, it seemed incorrect. I followed up with this office that confirmed the original quote was incorrect and I would only owe a copay of $20. The day of my visit they try to bill me the original amount, more than 4x the copay I had confirmed before the appointment.
