One stop shop I like coming here for inexpensive Mexican produce, and marinated meats. There is such a wide variety of cuts of meats to choose from. They also have freshly baked pan dulce (sweet bread) and a whole counter just for dairy products, such as mexican cheese, sour cream, yogurt, ect. The carnitas here are awesome, as well as all of their salsas. This place may be small, but they have it all: bakery, a huge meat counter, a dairy counter, and excellent fresh produce at great prices. Weekends can get pretty busy here... read more

My friendly neighborhood grocery store and taqueria... I'm lucky to live around the corner from this place. It has good, inexpensive produce, a wonderful taqueria with big bean and cheese burritos for less than $4, and a meat counter with marinated meats for quick, cheap meals at home.

An experience well worth the trip Go get there guacamole-you won't be disappointed. It is fresh, flavor able and bets making it at home. Feels kind of weird walking in-being a minority, but there were quite a few of the workers who were friendly and spoke English making the experience so much easier. The limes, tomatoes, tomatillos, pepp... read more

Resturant Aside from the small size, this place is Mexican supermarket heaven. I love that I can get great Mexican food products right in downtown San Jose for some good prices. For those of you not born with a taco in hand, let me school you on what to do. Head straight to the back of the store. Ask the butcher for a couple lbs of arrachera (you can also buy it pre-marinated). Make sure you get arrachera, not diezmillo; it's more expensive but well worth the price bump. Pick up some lemon, cilantro, peppers, onion, and tort... read more
