Great restaurant! The food was delicious! It was a quiet place to talk with good friends without the usual noise of a bar. Very enjoyable evening. Thank you!
Good four course meal for our large group . 3rd course: Lamb chops, chicken kabobs, calamari, meatballs and crabcakes. We were all so full. Yum! Good service, too, by Carlos and the lady server (sorry, didn't know her name).
The fried calamari is the best I've ever had and I love calamari. We started with the trio of dips with pita and they were amazing too - especially the roasted egg plant and tzakiki. We also tried the roast lamb on orzo with a tomato sauce. Very tasty but the calamari was still the best. Highly recommended. We were lucky to find this place before 6.30 pm so the food was happy hour half price. Even better. Excellent friendly service and a very nice place to eat.
We were a party of 12 and the food and service was great! Only issue was that we brought a birthday cake and while I was told there would be a 'small cake cutting fee', it turned out to be an additional $45! I really didn't think that was fair, especially since our bill was already over $500. It made me feel they were just trying to squeeze every last penny out of us, and that wasn't a good feeling...
I have eaten at Mezze many times over the years and it never disappoints. The food is fresh and has tons of flavor. I would also suggest ordering one of Octavio's specialty drinks.
