We celebrated New Years' Eve and our wedding Anniversary at the Meyerson Symphony Center. It was beautiful and FUN! The conductor, Andrew Grams, was excellent and entertaining. The musicians are excellent! Such talent. Opera soprano, Lauren Snouffer, was a treat! They ran out of champagne, but that was the only thing that wasn't perfect!
Wow..I'm a old country boy who had the opportunity to go to the Meyerson on new years eve.. what a wonderful experience..
A gorgeous venue with well thought out access to the seats. The acoustics were, as ever, perfect. Even the tightly-packed seats did not seem cramped or tight. Sightlines were excellent. Being at the level of the organ pipes made that instrument almost a part of the building as well as the music.
"The Mort" is *THE* most amazing concert venue. I'm biased because I live here, but the acoustics and the overall setting are second to none!
Fantastic performance by phenomenal group of musicians!
The Morton H Meyerson Symphony Center is a world class facility in the heart of the arts District in Dallas, Texas. I would highly recommend attending a Dallas Winds concert or a Dallas Symphony orchestra concert for anyone who loves great music.
