Always great food. This was first visit I ever experienced waiting to be seated 10 minutes. The hostess was flying solo checking people out. There were other staff that " could have" seated us. The waiter could have been new. He couldn't answer a few menu questions. He was pleasant but he had been given too many people all at one time to provide the great service I've always received here. Still a favorite place to dine.
We returned here after several years in Texas where we had been spoiled with such great Mexican food and figured we would not have anything that good again. WRONG!!! We discovered Mexico Cafe and have been faithful customers for over 20 years. Great food, great people!

Our favorite place for Mexican food! The chili verde sauce on the smothered burrito, the chili releno and the appetizer chili verde Quisadilla is the BEST!!!
Mexico Cafe is always a perfct choice . Great food, fabulous service and the best chips and salsa. I went on my birthday and enjoyed a photo with the lovely sombrero. The complimentary dessert was wonderful. I love The Mex.
Food is great, but the service is crap lately. There were 4 tables being used and it still took 15 minutes before anyone served us. We then sat for 20 minutes waiting on our boxes and bill when we were done.

Jesse Patrick we appreciate the comment and we are aware of the problem. We had a few good servers who moved on this year and we are trying to replace them. Might take a little time but we will get there.
