I’ve been a patient here since 2018, but I’m done. This optical center has become unprofessional, predatory, and medically incompetent. Medical Errors: They misprescribed my lenses by 0.50 diopters, forcing me to wear the wrong prescription for an entire year. When confronted, they offered zero explanation or apology. Unauthorized Billing: They "upgraded" my exam without consent to so-called comprehensive eye exam to be able to go over the insurance agreed fee and charge for an extra $50 which is simply fraud. Extremely rude office manager. June called me and asked what my vision insurance was for a simple eye exam appointment a week from now. I tried to explain that I was out of the country when she called and needed to call back with the information - not to mention I had a sick child in my arms at that moment. Her response “out of the country or not, I am cancelling your appointment”. Never had anything like this from a doctors office. Just rude for no reason. They're very nice but I felt pressured into buying overpriced, mass-produced, low-quality Luxottica frames, even after I expressed my desire to buy my frames elsewhere. I will be finding a new eye doctor because of this. You can buy much higher quality, handmade frames for the same price, or even cheaper, elsewhere. I cannot recommend this office, especially for someone who is new to needing glasses like myself and is susceptible to such pressure.
