Title is misleading - I called in for an appointment & they said next appointment is in 3 weeks
Dr. Monica Rosales Santillan is an exceptional doctor. She thoroughly explains everything you need to know and demonstrates immense empathy.
I paid for appointment and was only able to ask 2 questions. I was prescribed a medicine and I indicated that my body doesn't react well to medicine. I called to discuss a reaction that I was having causing terrible cramping and nobody has responded. This is very unprofessional and scary not knowing what to do.
They cannot tell you how they're going to bill you and the billing department is unresponsive. Went for a skin check up and they said I needed 3 spots scraped. They said it would be quick and they do it all the time. I asked if it would be covered by insurance and they told me I could call my insurance and check. My insurance said if the doctor's office bills me as a specialist then it was covered by my copay but if they bill me as an outpatient professional I would be covering all costs on my own.
