Stuck on Metro Mobility for 1.5 hours waiting to get to work, when it's only 20 minutes away from my house. Was 30 minutes late on my second day of my new job. This is a consistent issue and won't get better over time.
Time for this phony, fraudulent, destructive, unelected organization to be dismantled permanently.
My first impression when I arrived was "This place is amazing."
Someone needs to take metro mobility operations away from this group..they're messing it up.
Working at the YMCA downtown I see a lot of older/disabled adults using the metro mobility service to get to and from our facility. While I have heard some clients' stories about some of the drivers I did not see with my own eyes until today how bad it actually was. A 65-ish member of ours came in this morning looking sweaty and shaking I asked her what was wrong and she said one of your drivers dropped her off 2 blocks away from our facility and made her walk all the way to our building. Metro Mobility was suppose to pick up my diabetic mother after her appointment. She waited, she called customer service, and waited more for over an hour after they were supposed to pick her up. She finally got ahold of someone and the driver forgot about her and went home. She was in tears. I can't believe they would let something like this happen. Thank god she didn't need any insulin shots and she's safe now. Shame on you for letting your driver go home and leave people stranded.
