I stayed at Metropole Suites South Beach and overall enjoyed the location and the accommodations. The front desk staff was kind and helpful during my stay, but unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by how the South Beach Group, which oversees the hotel and handles reservation policies, dealt with a change in my plans. I contacted them in advance to request an early check-out and was told there would be a full night’s charge as an early departure fee.
