A favorite place in Venice, great hotel and always a wonderful choice.
We went to Metropole for lunch. It’s a superb place and gets almost everything right. We were in a hurry to have a quick lunch, main course only, because we were catching a boat. I ordered black cod. The huge disappointment was the portion size. The fish portion was a maximum of 30 grammes with a sauce and minor garnish. It would have been very small for a starter.
