RecommendedMetro Lofts is an amiable place to live. It's just not a home but a community of neighbors who watch out for each other and help each other out when needed. The management is excellent and so is the maintenance staff. It's a friendly environment and one of the more affordable properties downtown. You can literally walk out of the building and the farmer's market is right there and you don't have to worry about parking. I highly recommend Metro Lofts. Take a tour and meet some of the residents.
The management is fantastic, they were understanding and very helpful during a difficult move. There are fun competitions and get togethers for the community. I was also very happy to find that they are a dog friendly apartment!
I live at Metro Lofts for 3yrs . Amy Flugge Smith is our manager. Amy does a wonderful job . Amy's assistant also does a great job Trent . The place is so clean & maintained . This a happy place , My dog has to visit Amy every day !!!! She always give him treats . I love my home !!!!

Not only is living downtown DSM convenient and fun, this property is so professionally staffed and cared for. I appreciate how the building manager Amy makes living here easy and convenient. We have regular communication about what to expect for inspections and maintenance days in advance, but also she has been TOP NOTCH in keeping us safe and informed about measures taken at Metro Lofts regarding the pandemic. Any from metro lofts was so helpful in this process. She went out of her way to contact me and worked with my schedule to even get paperwork signed. I have had an amazing experience with Metro because of Amy and look forward to moving into my new home.
Metro lofts was PHENOMENAL. I can not recommend enough. The apartments are beautiful and the management is receptive and efficient. I’ve absolutely loved living at metro lofts and will truly truly miss them. Special thanks to Amy for being the literal best ever. I will forever be indebted
