Today marks one year since I made an offer on a house and land package with Metro. What should have been an exciting milestone has instead become one of the biggest regrets of my life. Over the past 12 months, my costs have increased by ~$90k due to issues that, in my view, should have been identified and shared before the land was marketed and sold. Our experience with Metro Homes was absolutely fantastic. In particular, Rebecca and Randall were extremely helpful and answered any queries we had throughout the process, very promptly too. Metro were also open and honest, gave realistic timeframes and went above and beyond in many cases. Our independent building inspector noted that their waterproofing was beyond the Australian Standards which we were pleased about. Structurally everything is sound and our turnkey price was honoured. We will definitely recommend Metro!
The worst building experience! Im still waiting for them to fix my staircase and honestly im over talking to them. So many better builders. I have actually stayed very quiet on complaining but unless your a first home buyer building a basic house dont use them. I am reminded of my bad decision everytime i walk down my hallway. 3 months in from the below message we wull get in touch shortly and called & nothing had happened. This is a perfect example if this builder!!! Not acceptable
