Not the Best Apartment Home in Downtown LA – I went for a tour at Metro 417. The building itself was quite nice but the security was so very rude. You need to ring the security to gain access to the parking lot and building. I have never ran across such a rude man. It seemed like he hated his job and didn't want to let anyone into the building. Look Somewhere Else – I was in the process of looking for an apartment in downtown because of my job and came across Metro 417. The website looked pretty decent so I made an appointment with the leasing office. When I arrived, I was advised that the unit listed online was no longer available. The unit was available 2 hours ago and now its not available? I asked the leasing agent if he had any appointments before mine and was advised that I was his first appointment. Nice place to live/HORRIBLE Security Andre – Love, Love the building and sales/management staff. Yes it is pricey for sure! But if you work in downtown, it a perfect and SAFE. However guest parking is LIMITED, 12 for the entire building. Andre the security supervisor, is rude and horrible to deal with. AVOID him at all costs. Great security, but they love taking your money! – The apartment was clean and the people were very friendly; however, it seemed overpriced for what it was. The apartments are incredibly loud because the windows are all single pane orginals. It's impossible to sleep well. The parking structure is filthy and the halls are not well maintained.
