RecommendedThis was my first experience with Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. I had day surgery on my back yesterday. I was extremely pleased with every member of the staff that worked on my case. Everyone was very caring and helpful. When I started coming around in recovery, a nurse was immediately beside me to check for any pain or discomfort. I couldn't have been in better hands. I just had my second stay in a month. Everyone was great. Same as before. Different staff on this room but all were professional and friendly. They made sure I was comfortable. Food was still good. Nice being pampered. And they laughed at my silliness. They were very open explaining what was going on and answering my questions. I felt like I was in good hands. My father was admitted to this hospital on Sunday, September 2nd. During his stay there were a couple of things that were very concerning. 1. He was supposed to have a procedure done on 9/5. My father had been on a all liquid diet since his admittance. The day of the procedure my father was not fed anything because the nursing staff were under the impression he was supposed to have the procedure done that afternoon.
