My sister had surgery at the Methodist hospital in the medical center. Details of her surgery were discussed outside of the hospital and it actually got back to her by one of her coworkers. Her privacy was violated by someone that had been in the surgery. I have made multiple phone calls to report this HIPPA violation and have been referred to 3 different people. RecommendedI will be forever grateful. The nurses and Doctors were so great.The nurses were always there for me. I had a chest tube and everytime I called them they were always prompt and caring. I thank everyone for such a great job. I owe you my life .
This hospital ER was exceptional!!! I got a call the day after being in the the ER making sure I was feeling better, then I get home(I live in Iowa) to a letter of thanks for using the hospital!! You never have that kind of service anymore! Lisa the RN was amazing in calming my nerves and making me feel like I was the only patient there!
My 75 yr old mother was there for 4 days..they never changed her sheets..swept..or mopped...the sheer with blood was on the floor and an a young male kicked it all the way to the corner and left it there..She was forgotten about when assisted to the RR. She was told she had to call in her meals herself..was told shed be out by 4pm and want discharged till 9:30 pm...was told they were waiting for a driver to deliver her machine she was to take home and when driver finally arrived he said the order was not called in till 6:30.... read more
Just spent 45 minutes at the Northeast ER to be told "I am not sure what is going on" I was being discharged at the same time as the guy came to register me and stating that I needed to pay $200.00. I saw the doc for 5 minutes then they put me in the hallway to wait. IF it gets worse I am suppose to come back so another doctor can tell me the same thing? I thought doctors were suppose to find out what was wrong before sending you home, not just speculate on what was going on.
I have tried calling to check on my friend and send a gift or flowers from the gift shop twice. I have called the main number and sat on hold more than 15 mins...and finally gave up!? Does anyone actually answer the phones there?
