My husband was sent to the Jourdanton hospital by the VA to have X-rays run. In bold letters across the page it states, “Do Not Ask Veteran to sign financial responsibility” which of course they did. He refused to sign and the staff member helping was very ugly and told him he couldn’t have the tests if he didn’t sign. He refused until she asked a supervisor. They suck drs , nurses there the reason my mom passed away they never paid attention to her needs they never bathe her there ..my family was always there for my mom then the freaking nurses an drs don’t recommend this place to no one
we are sitting here in the waiting room after my daughter was brought in in massive pain by EMS. There are people laughing and talking and being taken in while she is crying in pain. if it is something serious there will be a lawsuit.
As a wife and care giver of husband who was recently diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, I have to say if you are going to be in the hospital which we have been a lot since diagnosed, Methodist has been the best. The 8th floor oncology nurses are angels from heaven! We are on the blood side because overflow but thankful as God sent us many AMAZING nurses but 2 truly stand out! I am currently at main Methodist for Open Heart Surgery and the pain management was worse than an interrogation room. Then they take me out of ICU to a tiny two bedroom area that is too small for family to visit and hot like a sweat box. This has been the absolute worse health care experience in my life! Yes let’s stress out a patient that just had heart surgery, that makes total sense!!

Our grandmother is there and while she’s there my mother in law has been staying with her. One of the nurses went into the room and stole her wedding ring that she had placed inside her purse due to swelling. Sad that you can’t even trust the nurses that care for your loved ones. Oh and they need to invest in cameras in the hallways!
