This mental health clinic charges a $400 "office fee". The reason? The building is owned by the hospital, even thought it's outpatient they can charge this outrageous fee. The help I got from the therapist was so-so, it didn't feel that substantial and certainly not worth $500 a visit. Don't come here.
My wife is currently in the inpatient program. She says that she feels good about her recovery and is feeling safe to come home. We both feel that 30 minutes twice a day (sometime once if there are no openings in the 2 hour time frame you have to visit) is not enough. Also they are never never aloud to go outside or out of the 2 or 3 hallways you have them locked in. They are not on punishment and should not be treated as such. When this office combined with Carle Health, they neglected to put down my insurance info on my file (likely on purpose) and now they are sending a collection agency to take $350 from me. TEN TIMES the original amount for my copay. They only put my info in when I called them about the issue, they "fixed" it and verbally reassured me that I didn't have to worry about the debt, but I'm still getting calls about the debt. Can't pick up the phone to fill prescriptions. If you take prescriptions, don't go here. They will make you go through withdrawal before they answer the phone.
