I had serious reservations about sending my mom to respite, but I was so burned out. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I spent 3 weeks in the Lawrenceville location last November. I still have nightmares. While I did work with a couple of nice, compassionate people, most were somewhere between un-caring and just plain mean. I was recovering from major back surgery and couldn't do much for myself.
