Mesa Dental began in 1978 with a vision. Dr. Walter Dukes wanted to start a dentistry practice to meet the needs of clientele in the Santa Barbara area. It would have a boutique feel, oceanfront vistas, and unmatched service. I look forward to my appointments. Secila, my hygienist is very competent, as well as fun to talk to. She keeps me entertained and I always am happy when I can reply when my mouth is unoccupied. I am impressed with Dr. Duke's use of the latest technology, like the scanning, and his use of the latest less invasive and expensive procedures. I was referred to him by Sansum twice, once for an apnea appliance and later for a jaw problem. My wife and son are now patients.
I actually LIKE going to the dentist since finding Dr. Dukes and his wonderful staff, Lynne, Amy, Marisol, and others!
