Never do business with Merry go Round I will never do business with Merry go Round Kids in Bellevue again. We ordered a crib and dresser from them on January 14th and it took until April 29th for it to be delivered (more than 15 weeks). We were initially told to expect delivery at the end of February. Aside from the initial delivery being 3 weeks late, here's the problems we ran into:

Going Back Again! I recently visited this store to purchase a gift off of a friend's baby registry. I was able to find some of the items on her registry and for what I thought were very reasonable, comparable prices - I wouldn't expect them to match or be exactly what a big box store price was however some were very close to what I have paid in the past. Forget about customer service if anything is wrong! – We wanted to support a local business and also wanted to purchase our products at a store (rather than online) in case we had any issues, etc. We had an issue with our furniture and the service was horrible, they basically referred us to the distributor and would take no ownership or accountability. If we had known this at the beginning, we would have just ordered on line and save ourselves a lot of money and probably would have received better service.

Find somewhere else to shop – My wife and I recently had our first baby, and when started looking around we really wanted to support a local shop. Merry go round is right across from the hospital and it seemed a good place. I saw some negative comments about being treated rudely, but my first impressions of the staff were that they were friendly so I disregarded them as people with a bone to pick. This was a mistake. Overpriced, understocked and snooty HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! These older women at the counter act as if I should be so lucky as to have one of them come over to help. There were 3 employees at the counter, and the store was practically empty. They knew I was waiting for some help, yet they definitely took their time to come over. Why is this place still in business?? They are so overpriced, not well stocked, not very helpful, and just snooty. AWFUL service! If you're looking for snooty, rude sales people, management that couldn't give a hoot whether you buy from them or not and a general air of "go somewhere else" then this is your place!

Lousy – I ordered a stroller from Merrygoround 6 weeks ago and was told it would be in in 2 weeks. I have since had my baby and for the last three weeks have been told they were expecting it any day. I have really had the run-around with this store and will not be shopping here anymore. I should have just ordered the stroller online. I am mostly frustrated because they won't give me a good explanation. Never pay the full price on something if they order it for you - just pay the minimum until you receive it!

DON'T shop here; disregards safety concerns – Such a disappointment! This store is cute and is apparently locally owned. We loved it when we first discovered it recently and have made numerous purchases over several visits. Indeed, we?ve brought in half a dozen other customers. We were terribly disappointed by the rude and dismissive treatment we got when we tried to report to them a faulty product. HORRID customer service While Merry Go Round certainly stocks a lot of high-end, harder-to-find gear and gadgets, the customer service is simply unacceptable. The staff is rude and unresponsive (when was the last time you had to go LOOKING for a salesperson to assist you in a boutique-type shop?!?) and there's a general "take it or leave it" feel to the place. In addition, the staff *does not like children.* Clearly, this is a huge drawback in a store that caters to parents and parents-to-be!
