I have been a client of Wayside for almost 2 years, both outpatient and living in a supported apartment. My experience with staff has, on the whole, been stellar. They are some of the kindest most helpful mentors I've had. Each person has taken extra time to really get to know me. Once I spoke with Josh for nearly 2 hours after his shift had ended, because the time just flew by for both of us. This program was great at the beginning. However because of the director PJ, the roll over and inconsistency of the staff is a lot for young adults with mental health issues to handle. Staff was constantly late to appointments. When my child needed to use the respite room she was locked out of the house for 4 hours while the staff was sitting on the couch in front of the window my daughter was knocking on, this staff member refused to answer the emergency phone as I tried called 38 times to get my daughter back in the house,... read more
