RecommendedDr. Gustafson is the most compassionate doctor I have ever met. She will always take the time out to make you feel comfortable with your animals treatment. I am one who trusts very few with my animals and Dr. Gustafson is one of them. Without her over the years I would be lost not only did I get an incredible veterinarian I gained a friendship along this journey. So if your thinking should I give Merrillville Animal Hospital a try I would say your making an amazing decision! Dr. G will not let you down ❤️❤️
I adopted my Jackson 3 years ago from here, (he was left at the door.) My mom lived in Merrillville and I was visting. I live on the north side of Chicago (near West Roger's park) and I make the commute easy. I love them I just adopted a 8 week kitty, again just made the trip for him to be checked out. Dr. Marlow thumbs up!
The vets let the kennel assistants do dental work and draw blood. Unprofessional.
Wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. Great experience!! The girls at the front desk were wonderful and very friendly. The doctor was great with our dog. The girls that work in the back also were great.
Been going to this office for over 20 years, just love the staff and Dr. Smith, I highly recommend him!
On Friday my mother's dog who has gone to Merrillville Animal Hospital since he was born had a heart attack or stroke episode and when I called to inform them I was on my way it was an emergency I was told to not bring him there because they were booked and was recommended to take him all the way to Hobart Animal Hospital. With much regard we lost him and I will never recommend this facility to anybody.
