dirty place to stay. don't bring your family
RecommendedIt’s a nice lil resort it’s not the Ritz obviously it’s 70 years old but everyone was very nice and friendly the view of the beach was great, house keeping always came and kept it clean, I was hesitant to stay after reading reviews but it wasn’t no where near bad like others are saying.. my only complaint and concern was the doors on the 5th floor don’t have top lock latches which can be dangerous when you have toddlers who know how to un lock doors but if you move the lil fridge in front of the door the problem is solved ..... read more
I have been going since 1978, Fort Myers Beach was very quiet back then. Then it became Spring breakers paradise. The rooms are very clean and have been constantly upgraded since 1978. As far as the negative remarks about the place is dirty, far from that. You have to understand, the hotel is on the beach and the staff is always cleaning the sand off the walk area..the food is great and affordable for all. let's face it, not all guests are clean and caring about a place, so you do get the slobs that you have to pick up after... read more

The room smells like fish mold and mildew! Sand is pretty water nasty! The staff is very friendly!
Dirty place. Super dirty! There are much better hotels on this island. The owner is obnoxious and a bully. Locals are planning to boycott after the owner was rude and belligerent to neighbors and customers at other nearby businesses.
