I have been trying to resolve an issue with my washing machine for over three months. It was under warranty and I took it in to be fixed, forgetting that I had paid for the extra protection, which would have made my taking it in unnecessary. I was given an estimate of $800.00 to fix it, so still not knowing I had a warranty, I purchased another machine. Meanwhile I get a bill from the warrantee company and a light bulb goes on.
