This is the best hospital the care and compassion at this hospital is superb
it is a joke. took my son there Nov. 17, Dec. 2017 and Jan. 2018. took 3 visits and 3 months of pain to find out he had kidney stones. then had to drive to Vicksburg ms to laser them because Merit doesn't have laser equipment in Natchez. Merit doctors are idiots too.
ER is supposed to be first in line if that’s where you’re needs are ... FYI blood pressure cuffs are disposable for infection control as in the entire hospital. But triage nurse then PCA used same cuff from last patient and probably many more on my 5 yr old with respiratory difficulty. Wonder why they call Code Sepsis 10 times day huh . And after 4 hours I had to ask the nurse for breathing treatment for my son that was there for respiratory problems and dr said he heard Rales. Prescribed no medicine despite me asking . This hospital is a joke ....my father in law had a lung biopsy Tues ....he started spitting blood up so we brought him here 20 + mins in the waiting room and then it took the DR 45 mins to come in and see what was wrong...in the middle of telling the dr what was going on he took a phone call ....ppl at the desk was on cell phones ....yeah this place is a joke .... I do not recommend this hospital to anyone even for a lil minor injury...best to drive out of town
