After three weeks in a cone, our sweet Sophie had a follow up with Dr. Higer today. He took the stitches out of her eyelid which revealed that her eye surgery was a success! He performed a grid keratotomy three weeks ago to help heal an eye injury that just wouldn't heal on its own. Sophie is nearly 15 years old and Dr. Higer has taken care of her since she was a just a puppy. We are so grateful to him for his amazing and skillful care. We highly recommend Dr. Higer and his staff at Meridian Vet Hospital.
This is the best Vet in all of the valley. Such caring and understanding staff. I want to thank all of you for how you took care of my fur baby King in what was a very difficult time for me and my family.

So I took my little dog to Meridian Vet Hospital this morning thinking that he was going to have to be put down. He is 13 years old and started coughing a lot and wheezing. I figured the worse. Dr. Kara was so kind when examining him. She discovered he has a heart murmur and probably congestive heart failure, but he can go on meds for that!! So happy for their help and a much better diagnosis then I had thought!!!
Becca and Dr Kara were both friendly, gentle, and welcoming to both me and Orangesicle. Thank you for taking good care of us!
I really like Dr. Albrecht. She's very kind and loving! I usually see Dr. Higher but he was busy at the time so they asked if I would like to have Dr. A see my furbaby... Instantly liked her sweet way and patience With my girl..and have continued with her since! She's a great vet!
