This group is a scam. I had a scheduled psychiatry appointment and logged in on time. The provider said she couldn't proceed because I was driving and asked me to pull over, which I couldn't do since I was on my way to work. I offered to call back in 10 minutes, she agreed, and I called back as agreed, she never answered. AND THEY NEVER ANSWER A PHONE. NO ONE IS EVER AVAILABLE- JUST A GOOGLE VOICE NUMBER. Bureaucratic. And the therapist that was listed on psychology today is not accepting new clients - felt like a bait and switch.
I've had the most positive experience with Meridian Counseling. I really struggled finding the right therapist for me (someone who I really liked and who was in network). The team at Meridian worked with me and helped me find my perfect match. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a place where I feel so safe and understood. I cannot recommend this place enough!!
I used Meridian because my longtime therapist had transferred to them. I changed insurance at the beginning of the year because my new insurer has better services for trans people, but I thought I could keep the therapist I’d been seeing for three years. The previous week, I received an email about my insurance, which used my old name. No big deal I figured, they just made a mistake.
