This hospital is NOT up to par. Please only go here if you really need to ER only. This hospital along with other hospitals in iowa received a D in safety surgical errors and other stuff that is si important to a patient. Iowa ranked 48th while Chicago ranked 17, Genesis healthcare/MercyOne are deadly for your health. They are very incompetent and dangerous. Kim Reynolds knew that Iowa hospitals where failing and what did see do, put a cap in malpractice suits. A demon, a devil is what these people are. Find other providers.... read more
My father was recently in the hospital for several days. The level of care he received was wonderful! Everyone took exceptional care of him on all shifts. They saved his life. Thank you for being there for my father and everyone else you care for!
I had my surgery here that went well but the the nursing after was terrible. I was to have assistance walking 4 hours after , 7 hours later after complaining the final came in . I found out the nurse was sitting behind the desk on her phone. It took 4 hours after asking to get something to drink . Not very happy
